Problem

The company operated a broad range of enterprise systems — from SAP for production and finance, through project and process management tools such as CPMS and K2, to HR systems and Jira. Each of these systems worked with its own data, which was isolated, difficult to connect, and often inconsistent.

From a business perspective, this meant limited transparency, complex data work, and dependence on manual reports. At the same time, the company realized that without a modern, scalable data platform, it would not be able to systematically develop analytics or prepare for the future use of AI.

We built a central data platform in Snowflake that unified data from key systems across the entire group into one governed environment. As a result, the company gained a single source of truth, faster access to data, and a solid foundation for further development of analytics and AI.

We reached a point where we were essentially an Excel-driven company. Many things were based on systems, but we still connected them using Excel. We definitely had multiple sources of truth.
