Problem

As production capacity and order volumes in the Czech Republic gradually increased, the complexity of Foxconn’s IT environment and the amount of available data grew significantly. Information was coming from many different departments, making it increasingly difficult to gain a unified, up-to-date, and clear overview.

Traditional reporting based on MS Excel and heavy reliance on the IT department was no longer sufficient. The existing tools could not efficiently handle very large volumes of data or answer new analytical questions focused on the root causes of problems. This slowed down decision-making, reduced flexibility, and limited the ability to respond quickly to changes in production.

EMARK helped Foxconn connect production, logistics and quality data from key systems into one analytics environment, giving business users faster access to data and enabling them to identify the root causes of production defects more quickly. AAs a result, Foxconn significantly reduced the time needed to prepare reports and gave business users greater independence in working with data.
