Problem
The company worked with large volumes of production and financial data from several key systems, mainly SAP, Witron CPMS, LPMES, and ANeT. Each system covered a different part of operations, but the data was not unified into a single consistent view.
The company realized that without a modern data platform, it could not fully leverage the potential of its data or prepare for the future use of AI.
Production reporting had long been based on the so-called “Amberg spreadsheets,” which were largely prepared manually. This process was time-consuming, repetitive, and carried the risk of human error. At the same time, different interpretations of metrics emerged because calculations were not defined consistently across plants.
This made it difficult to create a unified view of group performance, slowed down management decision-making, and increased the risk of ambiguous conclusions. At the same time, there was a growing need to provide relevant data not only to central management, but also to local teams in production and operations.

We unified production and financial data from key systems into a single analytics environment and created a central source of truth for reporting across plants. As a result, the company gained standardized metrics, automated reporting, and faster access to data for performance management and everyday decision-making.
